The aim of this programme is to equip the learner with a comprehensive understanding of the protections, rights and entitlements of the employee both statutory and common law and the ranges of redress and access to redress which so apply.  The Employment Law Programme is designed to equip learners with the knowledge, skill and competence to be able to know what are the essential legal elements of the employer/employee relationship, how they apply in a practical manner in the context of any employment context, how breaches of these provisions can arise and how the can be avoided, how and where complaints are made where a breach occurs and the mechanisms by which those complaints are heard in both a statutory sense and a common law sense.
